cyperpeace killing htaccess file
Sorry if this is kind of a duplicate entry - I just wanted to confirm the bug already reported, with some additions:
The web server is an Apache 2.4 (several virtual web servers)
Server instances run on Linux (OpenSUSE Leap 42.1)
The machine is inhouse (no extra provider, I have full access to the whole filesystem)
Seems that CyberPeace simply loses the original contents of .htaccess; after the "rewrite" only the part that should be appended remains.
I experienced the bug on every single virtual server from time to time. This sadly made me deinstall the extension because my customers don't like their websites not being accessible any more ...
NB If there is any possibility for me to just add some comments to a bug already reported, pls let me know.

It's ok you made up a "similar" issue, you use different TYPO3 and PHP Version, so we have documented this. However you should be able to add new posts to the other issue if you see there (after opening the issue) an "edit" link somewhere.
Please refer to my answers on the other issue: https://forge.typo3.org/issues/81533
