Make marker-icon configurable via TypoScript
Currently in class.tx_odsosm_openlayers.php the plugin checks whether $item['tx_odsosm_marker'] is set and if yes would use that as a marker.
In a tt_address record no such setting exists. So you can't set it per each marker.
But even if it was possible it would be great to have the default marker-icon configurable via TypoScript instead of hardcoded to res/OpenLayers/img/marker.png in the source.

Thanks, that works fine. I didn't see the way to add the category to the map-display-plugin, which can then have a marker, and thus have all tt_address-records pulled in "indirectly" since they are member of a category. Great.
I might have missed it in the documentation. Or maybe it's not in there that obvious? I agree that taking the indirect solution via category might be a good option as not to have to extend each and every table (like tt_address) with a tx_odsosm_marker-field.
Maybe configuration of the default-marker via TypoScript instead of hardcoded would still be an interesting option?
