Use the "forget my password" link on that website (rationale is that password cannot be sync'ed with typo3.org)

Excuse me, but i don’t see this issue resolved.

First, this error message is strongly misleading under these circumstances and should be corrected.

At second, even the password reset isn't working. Trying to reset the password for my typo3.org account and the associated email address leads to the error „That e-mail address doesn't have an associated user account. Are you sure you've registered?“.

So the whole SSO stuff seems to be broken for the translation server.

I would like to contribute to translations, but that’s not how to engage people.

OK, then please give me your username, I don't find it in this ticket.

Regarding the error message, I know, we know, it's been discussed and we can hardly do something better for the time being, unfortunately (reasons described in other chats and tickets).

Problem solved by chatting over Slack. Somehow the synchronisation script cannot fetch eacn and every user from LDAP server under some circumstance and as such some users remained inactive (because not reactivated) after the run of the script.

Disabling users is commented out so that it should not happen anymore until we (finally) migrate to a newer Pootle version.

I still see this error for my nickname 'ToxicAli'. I would like to continue on czech translations. Can you please figure out this error for my account?

Hi Marek, if you read the very first comment of this ticket, you'll discover that you need to reset your password on https://translation.typo3.org (NOT on my.typo3.org).
