h1. Problem/Description
I find it really annoying that the default page module submodule is "QuickEdit". Especially when I show TYPO3 newcomers how content elements can be entered in the TYPO3 backend.

* Are there any appreciable reasons why "QuickEdit" is the default for the page module?

* Change default to "columns" instead of "QuickEdit"
h1. Longer-term ToDo
* Move QuickEdit outside of the core
