t3ddy provides comfortable tabs and accordion handling right in TYPO3 page module using the magic of gridelements.
For backend display of tabs and accordions t3ddy uses jQuery UI.
t3ddy requires gridelements.
- Disable t3ddy tab container: If checked tab container grid is not available.
- Disable t3ddy accordion: If checked accorion grid is not available.
- Show t3ddy grids in own group: If enabled t3ddy tab container grid and accordion grid will be displayed in a new "t3ddy" group in content element wizard.
Static template inclusion¶
t3ddy provides a static template, which may be added to TYPO3 template. It is important that t3ddy's statics are included after gridelements'.
This template contains amongst others the following typoscript:
If you have already jQueryUI in use, please unset the includeJS.jQueryUi in your typoscript.
Usage in backend¶
The main target of t3ddy is to make adding tabs and accordions for editors as easy as possible. When adding a new tab or accordion container, you see the in both variations an add button (+), which creates new tabs or pages.
Currently t3ddy does not support nested tabs or accordions or a mix of both.
Also the display of gridelements inside of tabs or accordions in backend is buggy. Tickets for these circumstances are already existing (#59274, #59275).
This version of t3ddy is in a very early state. So feel free to contribute some code or tickets in forge.
