EM configuration option¶
After the extension is installed, you can select some option in Extension Manager.
The available options are:
- Generate HTML report (default value: enabled)
If its enabled then each time you create/update/delete news then new report is generated. You can see it in your browser at: http://www.example.com/typo3temp/ttnewscache/report.html
- Clear cache (default value: disabled)
Clear caches. Remember that you have to install additional extensions that clear caches. If you do not and turn it on there will be no effect - no cache will be cleared.
- Automatic views search (default value: enabled)
Let the extension search for tt_news plugin you have on you site. If you turn it off will will have to enter the information manually using TypoScript. It is recommended to turn that option on.
- Debug (default value: disabled)
If HTML Report is not enough you can always get more data in debug. (t3lib_div::devLog is used extension: devlog)
- Buffered views filename (default value: views_cache)
Name of the file to store the buffered views (filename with extension). Remember to delete the old file in typo3temp/ttnewscache/.
You may want to change the default filename so people can not easily enter in theirs browsers http://www.example.com/typo3temp/ttnewscache/views_cache and see all yours views information.
- HTML Report filename (default value: report.html)
Name of the file to store the HTLM report (filename with extension). Remember to delete the old file in typo3temp/ttnewscache/.
