FE editing inside Draft Workspace : new created elements dont appear in the FE

Description
I'm connected to the FE and have access only to the Draft Workspace so that i can see what i am doing, but without damaging the online website. When I create new elements (text, text+image, etc.) inside an existing page, these new elements are saved but never appear in the FE (Draft Workspace). They are actually stored in the BE in placeholders and are only visible in the BE.

I forgot to mention that the versioning feature is also enabled.

I have the same issue with BE editing. Have a non-admin user that has access to a WS. He can create Content Elements, but they are never linked to the page by TV. Instead, they just show in the non-used elements part of TV.
This is with T3 4.0.4 and TV 1.2.1
