Description

Plupload integration misses a checkbox to overwrite files instead of appending numbers if files exist.

The v3 additionally fixes problems with html4 runtime and displays the runtime used

Let's continue the development of this nice feature as soon as we branch trunk for 4.6, ok? We should re-add it as soon as possible, so that development (and tests) can continue.

Then what's the status of a good uploader? :-) Plupload? A different one? For 6.1?

We use the native upload functionality and a drag an drop possibility in filelist.
No plupload in the core. Closed.

Since this issue was very old, it might have applied to a previous version. In 4.5 we have a plain HTML-based uploader and swfupload. Both have a checkbox "Overwrite files". And I tried that it works as you'd expect. Afaik no later version introduced plupload so far. In case you have some case where overwriting still does not work, please open an issue with some details on how to reproduce that.
