Description

Hi,
i get some javascript method error in ie8 after i want add a link to a image.

The problem seems to be located in
/typo3/sysext/rtehtmlarea/htmlarea/plugins/TYPO3Link/typo3link.js
near line 234 and 236

this code:
var bookmark = this.editor.getBookmark(range);

throws the javascript error
(issue imported from #M17947)

Same issue here.

I insert an image in RTE. Ater that i click on it, click create link button. Link wizard pops up. I select a page. But i get an error instead. The wizard scrolls to the top. And that's all.

TYPO3 ver: 4.5.6
Browser: IE 8
System: WinXP Pro
Extension: htmlarea RTE v2.1.7

If any further information is needed to resolve this problem, pls let me know.

Hi,

as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.2.7)?

The problem is not present in TYPO3 6.2.3; tested with IE8 8.0.7601.17514
