Description

Hi there,

it is not possible to open .ts files in "filelist" having t3editor enabled.

It throws an exception "unable to load parser". Other extensions we've tested .txt, .css, .html, .conf, .const, .setup work just fine, even so there seems to be no highlighting for TS code.

We've tested with both FF 6.0.2 and IE 9.

Would be great to have this solved and also having TS code highlighting, when outsourcing setup and constants into files (to make them reusable).

Thanks and best regards,

Alex

i heard it could have been caused by the "Cardlayout" change, which actually has been reverted some days ago.

However in the latest 4.6 from master i can't reproduce this issue anymore.

Could you please double check if the issue is solved?

Unfortunately I can't test T3 v. 4.6, as we have PHP 5.2 and for 4.6 PHP 5.3 seems to be required. I will test with next 4.5.7 and post my results. Sorry, that I am not able to test, but I am sure, if you can't reproduce with 4.6 the problem should be solved then ;-)

Hi there,

update 4.5.7 unfortunately does not solve the problem. I personally believe it is not enough to have that fixed in version 4.6, especially as version 4.5 is a LTS version. I am sure for quite a few hosters and agencies (like us) it is not a minor task to update PHP 5.2 to 5.3 just to be able to install TYPO3 4.6.

We have e.g. PLESK running which caused major problems with PHP 5.3 during first tests about 8 months ago and also quite a few extensions will mostlikely struggle mit 4.6/PHP 5.3 (as they were developed for PHP 5.2 and lower) which is of course another big problem if you have many clients using TYPO3 and many extensions.

It would be great to get this fixed for 4.5.x LTS sometime. At least, we would be very happy about it ;-)

Thanks and best regards,

Alex

In #48812 "ts" was added to the text files, so it should now be editable IMHO. This change is available since TYPO3 6.2beta7. Can you check if this resolves your issue?
