Description

I get this error with TYPO3 4.5.13.

Here is the line from the t3 log:

Core: Exception handler (WEB): Uncaught TYPO3 Exception: #1253534136: No table to write data to has been set using the setting "cacheTable". | t3lib_cache_Exception thrown in file t3lib/cache/backend/class.t3lib_cache_backend_dbbackend.php in line 65

I have the same problem. My complete website has been broken, the FE doesn't work any longer. I have upgraded to T3 4.5.14 in the moment and have updated some extensions.

The problem seems to be caused by tt_news 3.2.0. When I disable the internal caching of tt_news the normal FE page is displayed. Enabling the internal caching again breaks with the mentioned error message.

After reading http://wiki.typo3.org/Caching_framework, I took a chance and added $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['SYS']['useCachingFramework'] = false; to my localconf.php, deleted the temp files and my BE was back.

I'm able to update to tt_news 3.2.0 without trouble now.

not using the cachingframework is not recommend!
