Hi!
Maybe it would be usefull to add a field for meta name="thumbnail" in the page properties (like og:image).
Output should be: <meta name="thumbnail" content="http://example/foo.jpg" />

Hrm, I dig bit deeper and can confirm that.
In that case, it doesn´t make sense to implement that.
-> can be closed!

closed as requested. of course this can be implemented by an extension with not that much effort but no need to have that in core
