Description

I often search for issues to make sure something I want to report was not reported before. Other than in Mantis I can only search in all issues, not in unassigned etc.

It would be cool if we could filter search results by status or at least have an option to exclude closed issues from results.

Additionally you can filter by subject on the issues page.

@ Steffen: No, it was about the search results, not the issue list.

@ Susanne: Thanks for the link to the Redmine documentation. Looking at this issue I'm reminded of my other proposal to have a look into ChiliProject where development seems to go much faster... :-)

Dont quite get that, you can include/exclude values on numerous fields. Did you note the "add filter" dropdown on the right side?
Or do you mean the global search?

Any feedback here? Don't see a way to change that, as we're not the redmine developers.
