Mouse Over Effects for Images: New project: Mouse Over Effects for Images (6 comments)

Added by Till Korten over 10 years ago

The standard Image effects (Darker, Brighter, rotate, grayscale etc.) become mouse over highlight effects. This means, that the unchanged image is displayed, until the frontend user moves the mouse over the image. Then the image with the effect applied is displayed. The standard effect would be to make the image brighter thus creating the well known highlight effect.
Alternatively, completely different images can be added as overlay images. These overlay images are displayed instead of the original images, again until mouse over, when the original image appears. If less overlay images than original images are uploaded, the last overlay image is repeated until all original images are covered. I.e. if only one overlay image is uploaded, all images are covered with te same overlay image.
The original images are created by the standard mechanism of typo3 (and the plugin css_styled_content). Therefore all features like links, click enlarge, effects, etc. still work on the original image. The only difference is, what is displayed until the mouse is over the image.
Works for both the “image” and the “Text w image” content elements.

List Categorized Pages: Welcome everybody! (7 comments)

Added by Till Korten over 10 years ago

Just started a new forge.typo3.org for the plugin category_pages.

If you would like to participate, please contact me (my mail address is in the changelog file of the extension).

I will need your forge.typo3.org or typo3.org account name, in order to add it to the list of users.

If you don't want to participate directly, but have a bug or a feature request, just file a new issue, I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Enjoy!

Hi all,

I have just released version 1.0.3 of DEV3.

Changes since version 1.0.2:

  • The "New FLOW3 Package Wizard" now contains a template to automatically create the MVC files/folders as seen in Robert's Podcast "Hello FLOW3"
  • Fully NLS enabled, so the plug-in can be translated
  • Minor bugfixes

As usual, get the new version using the Eclipse update function from our update site:

Enjoy!

commerce: 2nd Commerce Developer Meeting 15/16 November 2008 (4 comments)

Added by Ingo Schmitt over 10 years ago

After the great success of the first developer meeting in Düsseldorf, we agreed to organize the 2nd Meeting again in Düsseldorf at the Weekend 15/16th November 2008. This meeting will be again in the office of the Marketing Factory.

Like in the last workshop we will split up in groups and work on different jobs and tasks for commerce, so everyone could learn from the team and everyone would bring something in into the project. The meeting will start "in official" Friday evening with a dinner and will start official Saturday at 10:00 and will finish Sunday at 17:00.

We will organize some lunch for Saturday and Sunday, so nobody will have to leave the office for this. Although this workshop is free, we would collect a small fee for the lunch on both days.

If you like to join us, please send us a mail to . We also could arrange your accommodation for the night, since we do have a special rate to the hotel near by our office.

DEV3: DEV3 version 1.0.2 available (2 comments)

Added by David Bruehlmeier over 10 years ago

Hi all,

I have found and fixed the bug which prevented the TYPO3 4.x part of DEV3 being installed. Everything should now install just fine on all platforms.

The new version 1.0.2 can be downloaded as usual from the update site:

http://www.dev3.org/update/

Please note that I will be travelling the world as of the end of next week until the end of 2008. This means that you are welcome to open issues on Forge, but I will be unable to take care of them until beginning of 2009. I promise to continue working on the FLOW3 part of DEV3, but only after my break! :-)

In other words: Please test now and report any findings as soon as possible.

Any feedback is welcome.

Regards,
Dave

commerce: Move to Forge (3 comments)

Added by Ingo Schmitt over 10 years ago

Thanks to the TYPO3 core team, all typo3xdev extensions where moved to forge.typo3.org. This gives the extension teams more features for developing and sharing their extensions. The new platform comes with a own bugtracker and a own wiki.

TYPO3 Commerce now uses this platform for the future development, all new issues should be entered in the bugtracker at forge, the SVN was already translated an new commits where made to the new SVN.

Feel free to join the TYPO3 Commerce development team here!

Magento: Progress report (4 comments)

Added by Georg Ringer over 10 years ago

Hi everyone,

I would like to tell you about the last days and what we did. Yeah there is already a "we".

Team

There is already a small team coming up consisting of: * Steffen Kamper * Michiel Roos * Murat Gercekcioglu * and myself

New Key

Thanks to Sebastian who changed the name of the project at forge to "magento". The project got now this url: http://forge.typo3.org/projects/show/extension-magento

High Activity

As you can see at forge (http://forge.typo3.org/projects/activity/extension-magento) that the last days haven been quite productive. So these things are already working:
- Every extension now in the one and only called magento.
- Product list, including a single view page
- Single product
- Product search with the possibility to choose the search field

Everything of course template based, configurable with TS and so on

Further development

The development will go on and hopefully the Demo page is available soon!

Participate

If you want to participate, contact Steffen or me.

This project will always be listed at forge, so there will never be any closed code which is only available after paying € xxx.

Have a nice weekend
Georg
