menu_type.addItems not working in 6.2

Description
If I add a new menu_type to tt_content in pageTS with:
TCEFORM.tt_content {
menu_type.addItems.101 = New Sitemap Type
}
I will get this error-message in the backened if I select the added menu type:
An error occurred trying to process items for field "Category field" (The given menu_type is not supported.).
I think this results from the missing subtypes_excludelist entry for my id 101 in the tca of tt_content.
How can I set this value?
I have got the same issue with 6.2. I tried to solve this by adding
$GLOBALS['TCA']['tt_content']['types']['menu']['subtypes_excludelist']['102'] = 'selected_categories, category_field';
to extTables.php, but this does not solve it.
I get the exact error message in list view whenever a tt_content record is on the selected page. I've never added a new menu_type in tsconfig. In the database all tt_content records have the value "0" for the field menu_type.

Maybe this is related to the change between beta4 and beta5: #54611?
The menu_type "9" was renamed to "categorized_pages".

It's not related to the renaming of menu_type 9, since the reports date back to before the change. I can see the origin of the problem and will investigate.
Simon, I can't reproduce your error. You say you didn't define new menu types, but do you maybe have an installed extension which does?

Sorry for the late feedback. You were right, the error on my installation is caused by the extension gridelements.
