Speedup deletion of an inactive extension

Description
Even if an extension is inactive, deleting it through EM takes quite a while. Does that also trigger a complete cache-clear or so? Are there ways to skip certain steps maybe?

Hi,
no cache-clearing triggered. Have a look at typo3/sysext/extensionmanager/Classes/Utility/InstallUtility.php method "removeExtension" which essentially just deletes the directory via GeneralUtility::rmDir - which can take some time depending on how big the extension is and how many nested levels there are.
Do you have ideas on how to speed that up?
