Improve usability of field selector in record listview and element browser

Description
When using the record listview or the element browser (for records) there is a select field, which shows all available fields a user can select to show in the listing of elements. Multiple fields can be selected by using the control key, which nowadays is'nt very user friendly. Some people may not even know that you can select multiple fields by using the control key.
To improve usability, the select-field could be replaced by a list of checkboxes, which already is being used in various places in the TYPO3 backend.
Attached screenshot shows how the listview looks with the selectbox and how it could look with the checkboxes.
