Moving/deleting section inside a container fails in workspaces

Description
I have a section object that can contain a number of containers (links with a title in a list). Once users work in a workspace, moving or deleting a single container doesn't work - the result is lost after saving the FCE.
Interesting to notice:
1. If you change the contents of the container at the same time (like, change the link title), the change DOES get saved.
2. If you repeat this operation, the change DOES get saved as well.
I tested this under an admin account, so I don't think it's a permissions issue.
I uploaded a screenshot of the TYPO3 BE, maybe it helps.

What would be a reasonable sponsorship amount for this bug? My client keeps running in to this and I'd like to have it fixed.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
