• add the possibility to install a previous version an extension - now you have to download a older previous version from the website and install it manually
• maybe add a lightweight view and an integrators view with all infos we need
• bring back the possibilty to change the repository without editing the install tool

1. you can import other extension versions via right clicking the entry in the remote view
2. it was never possible to change the repository (or do you mean mirrors?), because the feature was broken all the time

lots of energy went into the extension manager during concept phase and last week during a Code Sprint (http://wiki.typo3.org/CMS_Code_Sprint_2013_Wiesbaden).

You mention several points that are disconnected from each other, so let me answer every task at once. Also please see that there are already issues opened and discussed for few of our questions:

• being "less silent" on extension updates (showing db operations, warning, etc... require an aditional "confirm" step in this case, ...)

The main goal with the new extension manager is to be quieter. It is intended to hide many technical aspects of extension management.
Personally I agree with you to show some sort of confirm screen that summarizes the things that will be changed.
For this I created a new single issue #47302.

• displaying the "author" and "last update" in "get extensions" listview (to be able to choose exts by a known or "trusted" author)

This request has been solved last week at the code sprint.
Please check "master" or wait for the 6.0.5 release to confirm if the development solves your use case.
There is already an issue on this at #39919.

• having something like a detail view to show additional ext-infos (extension files, conflicts, suggests, requires, author, ...)

Same as above for extensions on the remote repository.
Please see #39919

• display warnings about installed extensions which have been modified or patched to prevent overwriting them by just using the "update" function

In general extensions should not be patched.
But there is a solution to handle hard-patches.
Please mark extensions that are patched with the state "excludeFromUpdates" as described in #19217.

• displaying "system" or "local" about how the extension is installed

This feature had been removed and will not be added again.
The extension manager is ment to manage the typo3conf/ext/ directory and nu further scopes.
