Feature #90728 introduced a FluidEmail option to EXT:form EmailFinishers, see https://docs.typo3.org/c/typo3/cms-core/master/en-us/Changelog/10.4.x/Feature-90728-AddFluidEmailOptionToEXTformEmailFinisher.html
This is a very useful feature which makes working with templates for email finishers so much more convenient.

Unfortunately the forms documentation does not mention this feature yet, but it definitely should.
