for accessibility reasons table markup should use id and headers instead of scope (it could be both without harm I think).
Both techniques are theoretical ok, but practically scope isn't supported by mayor screenreaders. So the table markup should use an id for every TH and a headers="id" for coresponding data cells.
I will supply a patch until next week.
