Description
the webserver environment:
Windows (Win2000)
Apache (V1.39)
PHP (V 4.42)
MySQL (V 3.23)
Used the typo3 version: dummy package 3.7.0
Installation ended without any error report. But I can't login BE. I check the db table 'be_users' via phpmyadmin. The user is within db table. When I login BE, I always get the same error message.
"Your login attempt did not succeed. Make sure to spell your username and password correctly, including upper/lowercase characters."
I look for the solution in bugs.typo3.org. I tried the several methods mentioned here.
The problem is still same.
Anybody can give me hints. It would be very helpful and this is urgent..

Hi,
please update your TYPO3 installation and if the problem persists in typo3 4.0, create a new bug report. TYPO3 3.7 is not supported by us anymore.
