PHP dies in FE/BE/install tool

Description

After the most recent update from SVN (I'm using the trunk), I only get the following message in the BE, FE and install tool (when the file
ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL exists):

The configuration file was not included.

Before the upgrade (with the version from trunk 48 hours ago), the FE and BE were working fine.

This is with PHP 5.2.3.

the problem is that with latest trunk t3lib/config_default.php is an empty file!!

It looks like the file t3lib/config_default.php has been emptied by revision 2913. Reverting it to the previos revision 2905 unbreaks this.
