If I edit a file in fileadmin which is a bit bigger (>63k) and save it, the file ends up empty (0k).
Bad thing if you lose a template ...
I tried this with 4.2.1 and 4.1.7 on two differens servers, each running Debian Etch (64Bit Version) with PHP. All packages updated to newest versions.

The "Problem" is solved as there was not any :-( Sorry.
The behaviour was triggerd be some suhosin settings on two servers I tested this on. Hardend PHP did not allow a request size larger than 65000 bytes ...
Sorry again for the wrong indication.
