If I create a new record with the list Modul, and set the language to any other than default, File references won't be saved with the correct Language. (in sys_file_references the language_uid is set to 0)
But if I first save my new Record, and add the Files as a second Step, everything is fine. (in sys_file_references the language has the correct uid)
I tested this with TYPO3 8.7.17 and news 7.0.5
