If I'm on a mount point page all links for the same mount point get overridden by the mount point path. I can disable this globally, so all pages get there original URL back, but I would like to only disable this feature for the main menu and keep it for the page content, so that if I navigate in the page content I stay inside the same mount point where possible, but if I change to a different page via the main menu, I will actually change the page even if I have a closer alternative via a mount point.
So I would suggest to add a new parameter for the MenuProcessor "disableMPOverlay" to remove the Link overlay for this specific menu. The function behind that should just work like the global typoscript-setting "config.MP_disableTypolinkClosestMPvalue".
