In #78383 the TCA has been streamlined in regards to field positions in tabs for recurring fields.
The ticket also states: (quote) " _Document the order and position to encourage extension authors to change the field order accordingly._ "
I am not quite sure if this has been documented, and if so, where.
Stephan Großberndt suggested to open a ticket for this issue, see attached screenshot (Slack channel *#typo3-documentation*).
