Bug #102670

Updated by Tobias Jungmann 7 months ago

It is possible to add the target "_blank" to a URL defined in the field "Link" of a content element.
However, when you forget the space between a TYPO3-URL, e.g. "t3://file?uid=123_blank" instead of "t3://file?uid=123 _blank" then you get the error "The UID of file has to be numeric".

In TYPO3 v11 the content element will be saved but cannot be edited anymore. And the page cannot be loaded. If you want to hide the element the error also occurs (but the element is hidden then).

In TYPO3 v12 the content element will not be saved. So you can edit it afterwards.

In both, v11 and v12, the error only shows up if you use "file" in the URL, but not, if you use "page", e.g. "t3://page?uid=123_blank". "page".

It's not a big deal, but for editors this error is confusing.
