Description
Problem/Description¶
Creating a new page via drag-n-drop within the TYPO3 page tree creates two log entries as shown in the following screenshot:
Cross-Check¶
Creating a new page with e.g. the page context menu entry "New subpage" DOES NOT create multiple log entries as shown in the following screenshot:
Acceptance Criteria¶
Limiting the log to one entry while creating a page via drag-n-drop would add a clean log.

I cannot reproduce this on either a vanialla TYPO3v14 main or TYPO3v13. Could you add some details, is there maybe some extension interferring? Which browser are you using (I tried with chrome and FF)?
I tried it like this:
- Click on the "Page" icon on top of the page tree, hold mouse button clicked
- Move the page somewhere in the tree (within an existing node)
- Let go of the mouse button
- Focus is now set on the empty title of the page
- I enter a label
- I hit enter
- I right click on the new node, go to "History/Undo" and there I only see one entry
I am doing this as an admin user.
