Server Error 500 appear if the Option "Show Detail" is used by connections to the online repository.
This will only happens on Typo3 installations > 3.6.0.
If Option Show "Description" or "More Details" is used, the connection will work fine.

Given that details is the default setting, I think this has never been a problem in code, but rather with TER not working.
Unless anybody can reproduce this and show some error messages, I'll close this soon.

The problem didn't exist yet.
Sometimes the connection to TER is not possible, but today it is working.
