Conflict between Firefox's "Find as you type" and RTE

Description

When using the RTE with "Find as you type" feature of Firefox 1.0, the RTE and the Find box both seem to have focus. Anything typed into the RTE also appears in the Find box.

Spaces appear in the Find box, but not in the RTE, so you cannot have spaces! This problem also seems to prevent new content being saved to the content item in question.

Disabling 'Find as you type' causes the RTE to behave normally.

To turn on 'Find as you type' in Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Accessibility > Begin Finding When you Begin Typing

I cannot reproduce this problem with Firefox 1.0 and htmlArea RTE version 0.4.8
