Description

The only version of mozilla available for MacOS 9 is the 1.3.1. I have a lot of user of Typo3 who use this browser and I need it to work. With rtehtmlarea version below 0.4.12, the rich texte editor was working. All the other version since then, including the 0.4.35 version, always says the same message "Editor is loading. Please wait ...".

Here is the javascript error.

Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code:
0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMNSHTMLDocument.designMode]"
nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame ::
http://199.202.105.231/dummy/typo3/ext/rtehtmlarea/htmlarea/htmlarea.js ::
stylesLoaded :: line 841" data: no]

Can you do something for that?
Thanks a lot

Is this error happening with version 0.4.35?

Try to use the default stylesheet by commenting out any contentCSS setting in Page TSConfig. Do you get the same error?

Mozilla 1.3.1 for Mac OS 9 is not even an official build...

Could you try WaMCOM: http://wamcom.org/latest-131/ ?

THe error append with the new version 0.4.35 and I use the mozilla version find on the address you gave (wamcom-131-macos9-20030723.sit).

For the contentCss setting, I don't see where it can be, so I suppose that I use the default one.

Ok, now I know exactly what statement is causing the problem. However, I have no idea why. There seems to be bug in this particular edition of Mozilla. What is the most recent version of the editor that worked in this Mozilla?

I think it's the 0.4.9 but the version is no longer available so I can't test it again.
If you can send me de t3d I will test it to be sure.

Please install version 0.4.37. I think the editor should load (however, it will not work). After initial load, try to toggle to text mode and then back to wysiwyg mode. Tell me if the editor then works correctly.

Not loading either and here is the error.

Expect this would be fixed in version 0.4.41, but cannot test on the Mac OS 9 platform. Please confirm.
