rtehtmlarea 5.1 not loading

Description
rtehtmlarea 5.1 is not loading on my typo3 3.7.0 / Firefox .
that means: the plugin window is displayed with the "rte loading" information, but nothing happens (even if you wait for a while). no idea what that could be... i returned to 4.74

Did you install the ext. into "local" or "global"?
Local doesn't seem to work for me as well. I dumped the extension and installed in into "global" and, bingo, it works!

I installed it into "local". Now, following your hint I installed it into "global" - and bingo, it works also for me! strange ...

I cannot reproduce this problem with the described configuration. Please reinstall as local, enable the troubleshooting log (in the installation dialog), and report the lines displayed below the editing area when the editor is loading.

I cannot reproduce it now. it works as local now, as well. no idea.
