Couldn't show the Contact-Form in the FE:

I Got this Error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ctype_digit() in /home/httpd/typo3_src-3.8.0/tslib/class.tslib_content.php on line 1577

same configuration - same problem

since the update to typo 3.8.0 the content element mailform does not work anymore - even with the standardconfig that it comes up with i got the same error...

bug or has something changed?

Install the package containing the ctype stuff. For reasons noone will ever grok SuSE is not installing it by default. I consider this a "SuSE bug".

The package ctype-php was the answer. Everything is ok now.
