Description

When entering a database host with the name test.testserver.com the installer says ERROR: Host 'test.testserver.com' was not alphanumeric, a-zA-Z0-9_-:., or longer than 50 chars (...not saved).

Thats bad because all our db-servers have such names.

Same here! My DB-Name is like this:

mysql1.xxx.domain.de

Is there a workaround to install Typo3 by deactivating this check?
