I upgraded to rtehtmlarea 5.5 and now I am experiencing the following probelm: when you select "normal" for a text, the text is normally formatted with <p>, but the pull-down-menu in the htmlarea-window shows "preformatted". This behaviour is also the case when I downgrade to my old 5.1 version.
I am using MS IE, by the way. (Usually I use Mozilla, but I do not have access to Mozilla right now)

I cannot reproduce this problem. Is it only in IE? Do you have anything specified as RTE.default.hidePStyleItems ? In what language do you observe the problem?

An IE-specific, locale-dependant problem.
Will be corrected in next version.
