I think it would be a good idea to add an option in the admin panel unter "preview -> simulate user group" like "all usergroups", which makes FE editing easier for users.

You can in backend add a usergroup "all Groups" and add all groups as subgroup?

@Thomas: There are (currently) no subgroups for fe_groups!

in 4.0.0, there will be sub-groups available.
