0%
Description
drop the point "insert plugin" in the new content screens "type" dropdown. list all availiable plugins. this double selection seems not very usable - at least to me ;)

There are already some options available to change this behaviour. (remove Content Elements form dropdown, deny access, change or disable the new content element wizard)
I don't really know what else you want?

if you remove 'insert plugins' you are not able do insert a plugin anymore - at least over the dropdown box. my suggestion is to list all plugins in the dropdown box 'type' at the new pagecontent screen. at the moment the editor has to select 'insert plugin' -> the page reloads and after that select the wanted plugin form an other dropdown 'plugin' - for the editor it is not relevant if it is a plugin or not - he/she just wants to insert a new contentelement.
clearer?

little bit more clear.
I don't think this can be changed other than adjusting the new content element wizard to your needs.

i think it should not be that problem to change this - zap that gremlin ;)
if you create a new content element over the wizard, the available plugins are all listed at the bottom of the page, so nothing to change there.

Well, this is a feature, not a bug I think... If all plugins where inserted there, this list would be overloaded. There is a possibility to add some "fancy" JS layer stuff to automatically display the plugin list, but this is not really needed I think.
If the "type change" JS popup bugs you, there is another gremlin already fixed for this which disables that popup.
