Description
I have activated the Acronym Plugin for IE manually and tested a bit.
I found out, that the Plugin works as good as in Firefox, if you remove the width and height properties in the htmlarea-edited-content.css file for the abbr and acronym tags.
If these properties are set, IE makes a kind of "textbox" around the acronym text, with mouse handles to change the size of the textbox, but without width and heigt, acronym and abbr tags are normal text in the RTE field and can be edited normally.
If this behaviour was the reason, to deactivate the Acronym plugin for IE, please change it.
Tested with:
RTE htmlare 0.7.0
Typo3 3.7.0
IE 6.0.2800.1106
Firefox 1.0.7
