Description
In columns view the same 'new_record.gif' icon is used for two functions and this is confusing for newbies. A simple tweak would be to reverse the icon so that the new record in the top of this column had the 'new' at the top of the gif and the new record below had the 'new' at the bottom of the gif.
This would better visually reflect the true function of the one icon.
