the module "web->plugins" doesn't appear when logged in as admin. it doesn't even show up in the list of available modules when editing a backend user group.
because of this missing module there is no way for me to currently check the correct function of the direct mail module.

When upgrading to TYPO3 4.0, upgrading to Direct Mail 2.0 is required.
Direct Mail 2.0 does not use Web->Plugins anymore.
