Description
It's not possible to update an image once it already has been added in the editor. It can be reproduced if these steps are to be followed:
- Select the already added image in the editor
- Click on the "Insert/Modify Image"
- Go to: "New Plain Image"
- Select one of the files by clicking on the filename of the image
In Firefox the original image will be replaced with the new image, but in Internet Explorer (tested in on version 6.0) the popup doesn't close and the new image is never inserted in the editor

Fixed in TYPO3core CVS, branch HEAD and in TER version 1.4.0.
