Bug #16579
closedShorcut mode "First subpage" in multilanguage sites doesn't work correctly
0%
Description
If you have page structure like this
Page 1 (Shortcut to "First subpage" - translated)
- Subpage 1 (not translated)
- Subpage 2 (translated)
- Subpage 3 (translated)
Page 2
Page 3
Clicking on menu item "Page 1" on translated page produces "Error! Reason: Page is not available in the requested language." It tries to jump to "Subpage 1" and not "Subpage 2" which is first translated subpage in selected language.
All pages have "Hide page if no translation for current language exists" checked.
Kind regards

you should avaoid this shortcut anyway as it leads to double content (2 urls with same page)

Mmmh, the generated urls are not located in the same context, especially when you use realurl, but also when simulateStaticDocs is used: The urls differ from each other. We can discuss for hours which point of view might be the "righter" one, but after all it will be wht it is: a small bug!
So therefor it will be fine when we could work out a solutions for it!

Hi,
as this issue is very old. Does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
