is still in my personal view a open question.

How can "one" declare a starting point with recursive effect in extension index search?

I wanted the index search engine to search only one site in my tree.

I removed the line:
plugin.tx_indexedsearch.search.rootPidList = 1918
(1918 was the pid of the root page I wanted to block the search results to. In this page I also have a template record with "is root of web page" on.)

Now it works.
