Description

After upgrading from 3.6 to 4.1.1 I had some problems with the configuration of Paragraph and Character classes in the RTE htmlArea using CSS. To isolate the problem I installed a fresh copy of 4.1.1 and the dummy site. When creating a new page with a new element, the RTE starts but Paragraph and Text are disabled (same problem I had with my updated site). I use the latest version of IE.

Any Idea?

This problem is IE7 specific. Can't reproduce it with Firefox (which means with Firefox my SETUP runs as exprected). As a "shooting in the dark", I would say the problem is inside of the browser selection.

Do you still encounter this problem?

What version of rtehtmlarea are you using?

Do you have another version of htmlarea installed as global or local extension?

Is the IE browser cache set to automatic?

Is mod_gzip activated on the server?

Very strange.

What permission did you have on this directory and what value do you have on $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['folderCreateMask'] (from Install tool)?

What charsets are you using in the backend and the frontend?

Is this still an issue with TYPO3 4.3?

No feedback. Issue reported against unsupported version of TYPO3. Closing the issue.
