Me again Stan,
creating a new line via tab does not work in IE 7 and 6. It complains that there is no sibling.

Do you mean when the cursor is in a table cell? I am unable to reproduce this issue. maybe something wrong in your setup. Please clear the browser cache.

If you installed the latest revision of TYPO3_4-2 branch, you should clear the TYPO3 configuration cache and delete all files from directory typo3temp/rtehtmlarea

Hi Stan,
i did everything you said, and it did not work. I upgraded again, and everything is fine. I must have mixed up those versions, but I cannot imagine how.
