Bug #18543
closed"Show content from other page" keeps working after page type set to "Standard"
0%
Description
When I select the "Advanced" page type for a certain page in the tree (let's say "page1"), and set the "Show content from other page" field to a subpage ("page2"), it correctly renders the content from the selected subpage.
However, when I switch the "page1" type back to "Standard", it will keep rendering the content of "page2". Standard type pages should not render content from another page.
Using typo3 4.1.6, templavoila 1.3.4, reproduced under Linux and Windows.
I realize this is really a minor issue, but I just went nuts trying to figure out why my newly created content will not be rendered on a Standard page.

in 4.2 Standard and Advanced are merged, so this will be no more problem.

Thanks for the update, did not know that. Is there anything I need to do to close this issue?

i don't see this as a bug. Sure it's a bit circuitous.
As we only fix critical bugs in 4.1 i will close this issue.
