I'm new to this, so I apologize if I post this in the wrong place, but I hope someone can help me.

I'm writing from a non-profit organization that early on started using Typo 3 version 3.6.0 to manage our website. It has worked absolutely fantastically until we recently discovered a problem. The student volunteer who installed it has since left, the rest of us know how to use it on a very basic everyday basis but not how to manage it at a rather complicated system level, and we cannot afford to hire anyone to help us.

The problem is that the RTE works only in IE6, not in IE7 or any version of Mozilla or Opera. Basically the buttons for Paste Text, Paragraph Style, Character Style, Bold, Italic, Underline, Left Justify, Center Justify, Right Justify, Numbered List, Bulleted List, Decrease Indent, Increase Indent, Insert Link, Insert Table, and Insert Picture appear only in IE6, not in any other browser.

Is it possible in a simple way to enable the RTE in the other browsers? Do I need to change something in Typo3 or in the browsers? If not, would anyone on a volunteer basis be willing to take a look at and possibly repair or upgrade our system? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or comments you may have.
