Description

The 'forgot password' template can only be changed in the translation file, not via TS. This is because 'flat text' is used. The first line is the email subject, the rest is the email message.

there are three %s in the template, the fist is filled with the email address of the user requesting the password.

It would be very nice if this was flexible and templateable like the login form. So we can use the normal markers in the template.

https://review.typo3.org/7503 introduces a hook for the 'forgot password' mail. This allows manipulating markers of any kind.

Is this a good alternative for a complete template code which would break existing installations?
