Improved Usability for PAGE module moving the "Create new record" button at the end of a page Column

Description
The PAGE column is a great tool for content editing and creating new content.
But the buttons/icons are very small impaired sighting and advanced age users. I have 41 and are beginning to have issues with the size of the icons and texts.
Maybe the buttons/text could be enlarged, and the some tools be included as an alternative to the contextual menu that appears when clicking on the icons.
An interface much in the way Word Press has - with large buttons and big text - could improve the easyness for the interface.
I submit an image with a sugestion on moving the Create New Record, at the end of the column. Obviously, it should not replace the button on the content items that are at the middle of the column.

How much should be offered as Sponsor Money to someone willing to write an alternative PAGE module UI so it has the same easyness that WordPress offers, without losing the TYPO3 greate features ?

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
